TIPS FOR HEALTH AND WELNESS


Recently, I have feel very nervous and tired because of midterm exams, presentations, weekly homework etc. One assignment is over and then we have to do the other one. This situation affects deeply our health and our psychology.
Lately, I have read an article about health and wellness tips for college students. The writer thinks that health and wellness are important for college students and they should care of their health by paying attention to these tips.
I think that writer is right because health is the most important thing which we have and there are some tips can be used to be healthy.


First, balanced diet has an impact on our health and state of mind. It can be hard to eat well at university but we should try to eat nutritional food. We should avoid of eating so much fast-food. Also we try not to skip meals and we should eat fruits and veggies.
For being healthy and feeling more energetic, sleep is the second basic need. Most people need 7-9 hours to feel fully rested. If we have the time in during day, we can also have a nap. And we should keep sleep times similar from day to day so as to get a good night’s sleep.

Thirdly, coping with stress and being social are important things to be healthy. If we schedule the things need to be done in a day, we don’t feel so stressful because we do our duties in time. Friends are the key for our social life because we can’t enjoy by ourselves. We need to have good friends and hanging out with friends helps us to feel better and enjoy our university life.
To sum up, we pay attention to some tips for our health and wellness.

INTEREST IN BEAUTY

With the beginning of summer, people will talk more about fashion & trend and they will try to look more beautiful. I want to talk about generally why beauty is important.

There are many reasons for the increasing interest in beauty. Media is the first reason for this increase. On magazines' cover and TV, there are so charming people that we compare ourselves with them and we ask ourselves why we are not so beautiful. We want to be like them and do our best to look like beautiful celebrities.


The second reason is the desire to be admired by the opposite sex (many people try to do their best). Although some people say inner beauty more important, I think that in reality physical appearance is the primary criterion when we choose a mate.

 Moreover, beauty provides in work life. For example, if you have good administrative skills and also you are attractive, you have more chances to be promoted. Feeling so lonely and depressed is another reason for the increasing interest in beauty. People who feel so change their appearance to deal with these feelings. The people think that many people loving would be around them if they were beautiful and attractive. 
In conclusion, beauty affects directly or indirectly our life in many ways.
